About The Project
Caledonian Couriers are a professional courier company based in Scotland who provide a high quality, reliable service to customers throughout the UK.
The client originally approached us after being let down by their previous website designer who had developed a WordPress website to a poor standard. The website could not be updated, was dysfunctional and did not least the lasting impression of professionalism that is synonymous with Caledonian Couriers’ excellent service. Something had to change!

the build
Our Design Process
We started by carrying out a full technical audit of the client’s existing WordPress website to assess whether or not we could work on top of the existing design. Our technical team flagged several high-level risk and errors that would have been too costly for the client to fix, so we decided to condemn the website and proposed the build of a new bespoke HTML website.
With the client’s approval we proceeded with building the new website, using their existing content and gallery of images to create a new homepage, including a menu structure, for Caledonian Couriers to preview. As we progressed through the job we built individual landing pages for each service, expanding the website footprint on search engines to increase their organic rankings, while also giving website visitors’ an easier understanding of the services available - such as same-day deliveries and medical deliveries.

Results
Project Completion & Launch
Once the website was ready to go live we shared a final preview with the client and made arrangements to transfer the domain name, website hosting and email services in-house for ongoing management – helping the client completely cut ties with the designer who let them down.
Since launching the website our design and marketing team have remained in close contact with Caledonian Couriers to continue helping the business grow. We run a successful Google Ads search campaign for them to generate new high quality leads from the general public and businesses across Scotland and the United Kingdom.
